On this day, 11 years ago, we lost George Harrison to lung cancer. He was 58 years old. (February 25, 1943 – November 29, 2001) Sad, sad, day. Actually, "sad, sad, day" is an understatement. Devastating is more like it. Massively devastating.
I'm not going to get all mushy and write a novel. I might save that for his birthday in February... ha! George Harrison is one of my all-time favorite musicians. He was one of those quiet geniuses. Those are the best. He was just brilliant. A Brilliant musician, and he had a brilliant mind. George was just amazing.
Rest In Peace, George. We truly miss you. ♥
