Vh1 Classic's "America's Hard 100"

I have nothing to say about this countdown, except that it is comical. Absolutely comical. It is an absolute joke! I wasn't even going to blog about it but a friend of mine asked me to put the list in my blog, because he doesn't get Vh1 Classic. I will update this blog as soon as the nightly episodes end.
Every time Vh1/Vh1 Classic decides to do a countdown involving hard rock/metal songs, they always choose the same damn songs. They're just in a different order this time. Also, Vh1 Classic chose the ballot and had fans/viewers vote for their favorites. So yeah, once again, this is NOT going to be a legit countdown. If you're basing a countdown around the hardest rock/metal songs, the most logical thing to do is sit down and listen to the songs (shocker!) and rank the songs from the least hardest to the most hardest. Logic, people. When you base a hard rock/metal countdown around fan voting or network favoritism, you'll end up with "Silent Lucidity" ranking higher than "Bring the Noize" (I almost had a stroke)... and "Kiss Me Deadly" ranking higher than "Walk". Not even kidding. Just a little warning: this list may cause some ulcers... some strokes... and/or some massive nerd raging.

See what I mean??? It's okay to shake your head...

There you have it, folks! This is the complete list. The list that was "voted by the fans"... but you know what? This WASN'T what the fans voted for. Nope. I told you this was a joke! I knew from the moment I saw "Bring the Noize" at #100, that this wasn't going to be legit. No way was this legit. There's even proof! Fans are completely outraged (I have been reading their comments on Vh1 Classic's Facebook page and their tweets to the Vh1 Classic page.) A lot of fans are threatening to boycott the channel. Their response to the angry fans? "The fans voted"... yeah, right. The fans may have voted, but Vh1C tampered with the results. Clearly. Somebody left this on their Facebook wall and this CLEARLY shows that Type O Negative's "Black No. 1" slaughtered Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer". This also shows that "Holy Diver" had more votes than "Balls to the Wall", "Nothin' But a Good Time", AND "Paradise City"... but, whatever.

Also... 2 POISON SONGS IN THE TOP 10????
REALLY????
On what planet is Poison hard rock or heavy metal? Really? And "November Rain"??? Where in the f*ck is "Welcome to the Jungle" ?? That is WAY harder than "November Rain" AND "Paradise City". Where is Metallica's "One" ?? Skid Row's "Slave to the Grind" and "Monkey Business" are both hard rock/heavy monsters... where were those??? "18 and Life" made the ballot, instead?? Seriously. Epic freaking fail.

Peace, Love, & Music,
